Option 1
Auction your stock through Octane
Octane auctions special cars for enthusiasts across Western Europe. For a dealer that is an extra sales channel next to the showroom: the car stays with you, we take care of the presentation and bring the buyers to the auction.
An audience looking for exactly these cars
Around every accepted car we build a campaign: our own channels, e-mail alerts to relevant users and targeted advertising in the Netherlands and the rest of Western Europe. On regular auctions at our expense.
The car stays in your showroom
No transport to an auction site and no viewing days. We write the listing and structure the specifications; you shoot the photos following our photo guide, or through a photographer from our network.
Seven days, and you set the reserve
The reserve is agreed with you and invisible to bidders. If it is not met you owe nothing; we then look with you and the highest bidder whether a deal is still possible.
Buyers who can pay
Bidders are verified with a card hold or an identity check. The buyer pays a 3% buyer fee including VAT, capped at €3,600, so most of their budget goes into the bid.
Direct settlement
After the auction, buyer and seller get a private chat environment with each other’s details and complete the transaction between themselves. VAT-qualifying or margin cars are marked on the auction page. On request we connect buyer and seller with specialists for inspection or transport.
Which cars fit
Sports cars and supercars, youngtimers and classics, JDM and modern performance, rare specifications and low mileage.
No regular daily drivers, vans or trade lots.
What it costs
As a seller you pay no commission at Octane. For larger volumes we make tailored arrangements.
